After traveling from NC to CT to pick up my vehicle from Ricciardi Auto Sales, I have to conclude that he Ricciardi brothers are finest men in Waterbury, CT. From the initial phone call through driving the vehicle off the lot, the Ricciardis were 100% honest and trustworthy. Dealt with both brothers they were helpful and strait forward, no fast talk. Got a great truck one minor issue with inspection called them up and they took care of it right away. Definitely would recommend them to a friend.

And next week he picked me up at train station. The car has exceeded my expectations. Every component, brakes,wipers,a/c, shocks, ...well its like a new car a pleasure to drive. Just got back to Florida a couple of days ago I called Joe to thank him for great no problem sales transaction and the wonderful like new Buick Lesabre I now have at a very fair price. Told him I would be back in a year for car for my grandson.
Very upfront and honest. I did not end up purchasing a vehicle from them, since after test driving the one they had I decided I wanted a different type of vehicle altogether. They put the vehicle up on a lift for me so I could look underneath and check for rust, and they allowed me to take the vehicle on a lengthy test drive as well as answered any questions I had. Very transparent, honest, and no pressure. No other car dealer I've been to has put vehicles on a lift for me, in fact they usually just tell you to leave, not with these guys! Highly recommend. I fix cars as a side business for family and friends, and you can tell when someone knows their stuff.
long story short i would go back again. My company purchased a used gmc dump truck through them maybe a year or so ago. im not usually one to leave reviews but felt i had to share this story since you never truly know what you are buying at a used car dealer. Back story on the truck i was told was it belonged to an 80 year old retired hobby farmer. truck was clean as the day it came off the assembly line. the two owners let me take it for a lengthy test drive and what i liked most is not once did i hear some bs salesman pitch. we have multiple of the same truck on our fleet and i knew what to look for, it checked out we agreed on a price and i picked it up the very next day. a year later weve had no issues besides oil changes and some common wear and tear parts. what compelled me to write this was maybe 5-6 months down the road owning a friend in the industry saw the truck, recognized it immediately and actually knew the previous owner of the truck and sure enough it was owned by an 80 year old hobby farmer. i can safely say that the two owners are very honest people and would highly recommend them to anybody reading these reviews.

Well I just bought a 2003 Honda element from them and it had no rust,ran good,the body looked great,interior is great and Ron and Joe were very good to deal with! I hate going to a car dealer and asking for a specific car and then they proceed to try and sell you something totally different. Joe and Ron were great! I was surprised to be treated so well. And the best part is I love my element. They go threw their cars and make sure you get what they say you'll get. And if it's not right, they'll make it right! I went to the lot to look at a car I saw online, but a different one caught my eye. The next day, I went back to have a test drive, and fell in love. Joe was friendly and honest. I ended up taking the car home, and since I'm a new driver, Joe gave me a rundown of the important car parts and what I would have to service when. A part on the car ended up going bad within a week of purchase, and Joe went above and beyond to make sure I was safe and satisfied with my first car. My experience couldn't have been better.

I am from out of state but it was well worth the 120 mile trip to get a very good used truck at a very fair price. Ron's meticulous attention to the mechanics of the vehicle is to be recognized. Excellent job Ron. My son is in the market for a vehicle and we'll probably be going back to check out a few vehicles on their lot.
Absolutely wonderful experience. I found Riccardi auto sales online and I drove 118 miles from N.J. to look at and buy a 1998 Toyota Camry in pristine shape. I arrived on the lot and was greeted by an absolute wonderful man, the owner Joe, who was so knowledgeable about automobiles from every era and every decade back to the 1930's.... We discussed the town's history as well as his lifetime of being in business of 52 years on the same corner. I can only say that every single car on his lot is hand- picked and selected by Joe in his brother and it truly is rare to see the best of the best cars for sale that he actually has fixed before offering for sale. You would never in your best day find a dealer do that in N.y./N.J.. Ricciardi auto sales prices are very reasonable and fair. I know and feel that the Toyota I bought should of been 20% higher based on it's showroom and safe condition. Long story short, if you need a good used car- Let Joe at Ricciardi sell it to you because you are getting value- quality and overall piece of mind for the hard earned dollars u make being spent on a used car/truck. I wish I found this dealer soon but I know now where my next car is being bought. I owned many cars in my life and I can honestly say that you can walk onto this lot blindfolded and drive away in a safe, reliable- better than decent automobile. True review from real life customer
These guys are amazing! I was afraid of buying from a used car place (and some places I went to, the guys were cheesy stereotypical car salesmen, just talking at me and pushing for a sale). These guys had a ton of great reviews and have been here forever so I went there. They are genuine and caring and went out of their way to help me. I felt like I was talking to a friend or an uncle, that was looking out for my best interests! Don't think twice - these guys are real and my car is amazing! I even called a couple times with questions and they had me swing by and helped me and they didn't have to! I will only come here, next time I need a car! Thanks guys!!! Love my car!!!
Buick Park Avenues were last made in the year 2005, and it is increasingly hard to find nice ones. Car buying websites broadened a search beyond my home state of Michigan. Ricciardi Auto Sales is where I found and bought a 2003 near showroom condition Park Avenue Ultra with low mileage. Pictures on the website were great. When I talked to Joe Ricciardi by phone he was responsive and conscientious in giving me all necessary information. I flew to Connecticut, took a test drive, and Joe handled the transaction smoothly and efficiently. The car was exactly as advertised. After driving home my mechanic looked the car over, and it checked out great. I highly recommend this business!
5 years ago I got my nephew a jeep from Joe!!! Still going strong. We just bought a second car and couldn't be more happy with the vehicle. These guys are very classy and went above and beyond for me and my family. Very affordable and very clean car. Thanks
FYI: I purchased a used car from Ricciardi's about half a year ago. I rarely write reviews, but am still so happy with the car that I thought it was the thing to do. Ron and Joe were a pleasure to work with. I was hesitant as I have always purchased from the Volkswagen dealer, but Ricciardi's had the specific car I was looking for in stock so I decided to take a look. Since I live over an hour away I was worried it might be a waste of time. Not so. The car was in even better condition than as advertised. It is a 2002 VW Silver Cabrio, no rust, low miles. They sold me an excellent car at a very fair price. I continue to get my servicing done at the VW dealership and the mechanics there agreed that I had found a great car. Ricciardi's other inventory consisted of no rust, low mileage cars. Impressive. I would definitely purchase a car from Ricciardi's again and would highly recommend them as well.

I have been looking for a truck for about 6 months until I found this "Gem of Used Auto Sales". Ricciardi Auto Sales was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. It's my go to dealer next time I need a vehicle. People ask me were I got the new truck from......2003 Ford Sports tac.....Looks New......Great truck...
